It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 7th EACS
Congress on Advances in Cosmetic Surgery. The EACS has
rightly secured its place as the premier European scientific
congress in its field and we are confident that Amsterdam
will maintain this scientific excellence while giving you the
opportunity to sample the renowned Dutch hospitality,
fascinating canals and city centre.
We have put together a truly exciting and innovative programme which reflects the latest advances on cosmetic surgery. The Okura Hotel offers a very suitable setting for the congress.
The ingredients of the congress include keynote lectures, video presentations, official symposia, workshops and integrated industrial symposia. Video surgery will play an important role within the programme, it meets the requirements of most participants as it provides an opportunity to see and discuss techniques used in specific procedures. Apart from this, oral communications are planned to enable participants to share personal scientific experience.
Amsterdam is living history: a city where you will feel immediately at home.
Built around a network of stunning canals, you can admire centuries old houses, as well as the most contemporary architectural designs. In this bustling
cosmopolitan city you will also find numerous art galleries, museums, flower-markets and diamond factories. While Dutch weather is not the best in the world, May is generally a dry month and Spring is well in the air.
In order to intensify the existing and new friendships amongst our professional friends and colleagues, we have paid careful attention to the organisation of the evening dinner on Saturday, 31 May. Without wanting to disclose all the details - I can truly say this promises
to be a special occasion as well as an opportunity to see some of the delights that Amsterdam has to offer.
We are confident that the EACS 7th Congress in Amsterdam will satisfy you scientifically, culturally and socially and that you will return home with new ideas, new friendships, rekindled old friendships and a determination to return to Holland in the future to further experience its famous hospitality.
